About Tony
As a General Manager with 34 years of experience, I've built a solid reputation based on leadership, a "can-do" attitude, and a real desire to see others succeed. I'm a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and completed the NCM General Management Executive Program. I've worked for the Friendship Hyundai Auto Group for five of years and have been in the industry for 34 years. I believe the best measure of my career is the professional growth I've witnessed in the teams I've led. I enjoy a direct and straightforward approach, and I think that's why people generally like working with me. Beyond the office, I'm passionate about the automotive industry and the essential service we provide. It's a big decision for most people, and I like being a part of that process. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active with golf, racquetball, running, cycling, and weightlifting. I'm also a big fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Kansas City Chiefs. When I'm not working or exercising, I enjoy traveling with my wife, Shelli, who runs two House of Colour franchises. We've explored quite a bit, from the Caribbean and Latin America to Italy and Thailand. My daughter, Samantha, is married and lives in Columbia, MO, and works in the automotive business. My son, Jayson, lives in Chaing Mai, Thailand and is an Entrepeneur and Jui Jitsu enthusiast.
