Hi, my name is Andrew and I'm a Product Specialist with six years of experience helping people find the perfect vehicle. I have a true passion for helping others. I'm originally from North Carolina and currently work at Friendship Hyundai of Johnson City. My background includes automotive sales, Warehouse logistics, Military service (including survival training and expert shooting qualifications). I received Multiple awards, including a Meritorious Award, an Outstanding Service letter from the President of the United States, and a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge title. I also hold expert badges for CDJR product knowledge, have multiple certifications from Joe Verde Training, and I've been a certified Hyundai Product specialist for years. I have also trained and taught multiple Mixed Martial Arts. I served as Vice President of the Student Veterans Association in college. Outside of work, I enjoy basketball, mixed martial arts, woodworking, and traveling (Niagara Falls, Orlando, and Canada are some of my favorite spots). I'm a self-described nerd, so discussions about superhero movies (Marvel and DC), Harry Potter, sports, vehicles, and even pets are always welcome. I'm known for my deep product knowledge, including upcoming releases, and I'm excited to share that knowledge with customers. I'm down-to-earth, easy to get along with, and I love helping people get into vehicles they'll love – whether it's their dream car or a reliable upgrade. I'm also pretty handy with a helicopter, but that's another story.

Andrew understood the assignment. He knew I couldn't buy the first day I was there and didn't pressure me. I obviously came back and bought my Kona and even though he was busy with 3 other people, he still took time to help me out and didn't pass me off.

He went on and on about how bad the tires where on my trade in and how they would have to replace them before they could do anything and it was going to be so expensive for them but guess what my old truck is sitting on the lot right now with the same exact tires. Sounds petty of me but I'll never do business with them again

This is the second Santa Fe Andrew has helped me find. I bought a new 2023 Santa Fe but had an accident and unfortunately the 2023 was totaled. Without any hesitation, I contacted Andrew King again. He checked the inventory and got back to me quickly with options, links, and pictures of several Hyundais available. In just a few days I was able to leave Friendship Hyundai with a new 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid! It is absolutely gorgeous too! I am a return customer and I tell all my friends who are looking for a new car to call Andrew King. He is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and caring.
